Canning
Adriano Premium is a limited series of canned sardines that guarantees superior quality and a rich natural flavor. The “premium” label emphasizes that production relies exclusively on fresh Adriatic sardines, caught and processed on the same day. Due to its high-quality standards, the production process includes hand-packing sardines that are cleaned of heads, guts, and tails.
The Adriano Premium product can be tailored to market demands, offering various can types and fish sizes. The sardines we produce range from 30 to 80 pieces per kilogram, or 4 to 12 pieces per can, depending on the type of packaging.
We have the capacity to produce up to 25 million cans annually, in the following formats: Euroclub 90 g, 115 g, 120 g, and Dingley 115 g and 125 g. The production process takes place in our modern facility, equipped with the latest technology and certified under IFS and ISO 14001:2004 systems, ensuring high standards of quality and environmental protection.
Salting
Salting is a production process carried out according to our company’s unique recipe, under the strict supervision of our technologists. The process is based on fresh anchovies or sardines, which are processed on the same day they are caught. Following the initial stages, the raw fish is immediately shock-frozen and transported in refrigerated trucks to our production facility, where processing begins without delay.
The processing takes place in a dedicated section of the facility with controlled conditions to ensure the preservation of the raw material’s quality and freshness. The fish is hand-cleaned, removing the heads and guts, and then salted to achieve better yield and premium product quality. The finished salted products are stored in chambers at an average temperature of 18°C, where a controlled maturation process takes place.
Each year, we process 2,500 tons of fish, primarily salted anchovies, in various barrel sizes and tubs of 5 and 10 kg.
