One of Croatia’s leading companies in fisheries and fish processing since 1989. With over 30 years of experience and a deep-rooted passion for the sea, we have grown into a trusted name in the industry. In 2009, we opened our own state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the processing of small pelagic fish, and in 2012, we proudly launched a modern sardine canning factory with an impressive annual capacity of up to 25 million cans.
Production facility
Our production facility spans across 33,000 m² in the Čaporice Industrial Zone, where every step of the process is monitored by a team of qualified professionals. We are committed to upholding the highest standards, operating under certified systems such as HACCP, IFS, and ISO 14001:2004. These certifications guarantee top-tier product quality and strict environmental protection protocols.
We are also proud to be the first company in the Mediterranean to implement the IQF (Individual Quick Freezing) system in brine. Our facility now operates two IQF lines with a capacity of 8 tons per hour, supporting a production process that includes salting, IQF freezing, marinating, and sardine canning. To ensure optimal freshness, we process fish the same day they are caught.
Our fleet
Our fleet includes four fishing vessels, supported by 20 partner boats, ensuring a continuous supply of fresh fish. We also manage our own logistics network with three transport trucks and cold storage facilities in Solin and Kaštela. With an annual processing volume of 8,000 to 10,000 tons of fish, the majority of our high-quality products are distributed across the EU market.
Founder
Mladen Milaković, founder of the company Conex Trade, left an indelible mark on the Croatian fishing industry, particularly in Dalmatia. His business journey began in 1989 with a small seafood processing company, which over the years grew into one of the most respected and influential fishing companies in Croatia, renowned both locally and internationally.
